At EXA Sports, our gymnastics program gives every child the opportunity to be a part of our supportive EXA Family, whether they are taking their very first steps on the mat or training for competitive success. Our structured, progression-based training helps athletes as young as five years old safely build fundamental coordination, flexibility, and sharp technique while developing deep physical confidence. Through divisions like our Pre Team, AAU Team, and MAGA Team, gymnasts learn level-appropriate routines, experience the thrill of performing at our home meet near the end of the season, and build a relentless work ethic that serves them far beyond the gym floor.

PRE TEAM
Our gymnastics Pre Team practices with our team athletes once a week to help young gymnasts smoothly transition into competitive training. Throughout the season, they focus on learning level-appropriate routines designed to build foundational coordination, technique, and performance confidence. This program prepares them for their very first taste of competition, culminating in the exciting opportunity to perform and showcase their hard work at our home meet near the end of the season.
AAU TEAM
Our AAU Team is the perfect next step for gymnasts who are ready for more challenge and commitment. This division focuses on advancing core gymnastics skills, refining technique, and introducing competitive routines in a balanced, supportive format. Athletes will develop sharp execution, teamwork, and sportsmanship while learning their level-appropriate competitive routines. It is a fantastic program for growing performers to build responsibility, mental toughness, and confidence both on and off the mat.
MAGA TEAM
Our MAGA Team is designed for gymnasts looking to push past the basics and fast-track their development through the Midwest Amateur Gymnastics Association framework. This division introduces higher-tempo choreography, more advanced skill structures, and accelerated progressions. Perfect for determined athletes who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, this program focuses on building sharp synchronization, explosive power, and the competitive drive needed to stand out on the performance floor.
